We are so excited to be partnering with Graham Wilkinson, Hotel St Moritz and Nevis Bluff Wines to offer two exclusive Supper & Song events this July!
For just two nights only, the world-renowned Yale Whiffenpoofs will perform at Hotel St Moritz to raise funds for Wakatipu High School.
100% of proceeds raised this evening will be donated to the WHS Foundation to support our 2022 programmes.
THE YALE WHIFFENPOOFS
Every year, 14 senior Yale students are selected to be in the Whiffenpoofs, the world’s oldest and best-known collegiate a cappella group. Founded in 1909, the “Whiffs” began as a senior quartet that met weekly at Mory’s Temple Bar. Today, the group has become one of Yale’s most celebrated traditions. Singing a mixture of old Yale tunes, jazz standards, and other hits from across the decades, the Whiffenpoofs perform more than 200 concerts across six continents each year.
The group’s unique blend of musicianship, choreography, and showmanship has entertained at venues like New York’s Lincoln Center, the White House, the Salt Lake Tabernacle, Oakland Coliseum, Carnegie Hall and the Rose Bowl. They’ve appeared on such television shows as Jeopardy!, The Today Show, Saturday Night Live, 60 Minutes, Gilmore Girls, The West Wing, and Glee.
THANK YOU TO OUR GENEROUS SPONSORS
Our Supper & Song evenings with the Yale Whiffenpoofs could not happen without the incredible generosity of our friends at Hotel St Moritz and Nevis Bluff Wines.
A heartfelt thank you also to the Yale Whiffenpoofs for giving their time to perform for us.
