We are incredibly pleased to welcome Karen Spires onboard as a new Trustee of the Wakatipu High School Foundation.
Originally from Auckland, Karen and her family moved down to Queenstown last year to enjoy a different pace of life. Karen and John's son Jack is a student at WHS.
Karen has over 24 years experience in Auckland Real Estate before semi-retiring two years ago and we are very fortunate that she will be sharing her wealth of knowledge, business acumen and passion for philanthropy and community to the WHS community.
Karen says " I have a shared passion with my fellow Wakatipu High School Foundation trustees and look forward to continuing the hard work already present within the Foundation to making a difference to the lives of our teenagers, parents, staff and our Wakatipu Basin community."
Karen will be leading the Endowment Programme at the WHS Foundation ensuring we can support WHS now and into the future.
