The Wakatipu High School Foundation lottery "WIN A TRIP OF A LIFETIME…" Opens 10am on the 12th August 2022 and Closes 5pm on the16 September 2022.

 

Prizes.

First Prize: A Fiordland Discovery 6-night cruise of Steward Island/Rakiura for two guests in a twin cabin aboard the Fiordland Jewel on travel dates 8 to 14 November, 2022.

Second Prize: $5,000 of Grocery vouchers for PAK'nSAVE. Drawn 20th September 2022

Third Prize: $1,500 of Fuel vouchers. Drawn 20th September 2022

 

The prizes are final and cannot be exchanged. The winner is required to provide personal identification for verification. All winners will be notified in writing. Attempts will also be made to notify the winners via telephone and/or email on the day of the draw. All winners must sign and return a prize acceptance letter. This may be provided electronically. 

 

Prize Terms and Conditions.

First Prize:

The first prize is a Fiordland Discovery 6-night cruise of Stewart Island/Rakiura for two guests aboard the Fiordland Jewel on travel dates: 8 to 14 November 2022 in a twin cabin. The date of departure of the first prize cannot be changed or amended and the prize cannot be exchanged for cash. The retail value of the Fiordland Discovery 6-night cruise for two guests is $14,200. This prize has been donated by Fiordland Discovery. Recipients must adhere to the T&Cs of Fiordland Discovery.

 

Prize Inclusions:

Return transport – Bluff-Oban by ferry.

All meals prepared by the Fiordland Discovery on-board chef in their commercial kitchen - all dietary requirements are catered for. Some fishing to catch a feed, if you wish to do so. Complimentary tea & coffee

Use of kayaks and top deck hot tub (weather dependent)

In the cabin: Toiletries, body wash & shampoo/conditioner (Evolu), hairdryer, linen and bath towels

Excludes:

Transport to Bluff.

Wine, beer & soft drinks (no spirits), these are available for you to purchase from Fiordland Discovery's licensed on board bar. Please note: Do not bring alcohol on board with you, as this will breach Fiordland Discovery's liquor license.

Second Prize:

$5,000 of PAK'nSAVE Grocery vouchers.

These will be provided to the winner as PAK'nSAVE Gift Cards to the retail value of $5,000.

The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, or be used towards the purchase of another card.

The Wakatipu High School Foundation and PAK'nSAVE will not be responsible for any Gift Card that may be lost, stolen or damaged.

As this prize is provided as PAK'nSAVE Gift Cards, the gift cards will adhere to PAK'nSAVE Gift Card terms and conditions including the below: 

A PAK'nSAVE Gift Card expires 2 years from the day of purchase or, if relevant, its last top up. Any unused balance remaining on the gift card at expiry will not be refunded or credited

A Gift Card is a plastic card which may contain any pre-purchased amount between $10 and $1000. Gift Cards are redeemable at any PAK'nSAVE nationwide.

Third Prize:

$1,500 of Fuel Vouchers.

This prize will be provided in Gift Cards to the value of $1,500.00 from the company of Wakatipu High School Foundation's choosing and will have a validity of one year from the prize draw date.

The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, or be used towards the purchase of another card.

The Wakatipu High School Foundation will not be responsible for any Gift Card that may be lost, stolen or damaged. Recipients must adhere to the T&Cs of the Voucher/Gift Card provider.

 

Tickets.

The total number of tickets offered in the Wakatipu High School Foundation lottery "WIN A TRIP OF A LIFETIME…"  is 1,500 ranging from ticket numbers 1002 to 2501 inclusive. The published ticket price includes GST.

 

Ticket Fulfillment.

Please allow 10-15 minutes for Tickets to be allocated, verified and delivered to your nominated inbox.
 

Eligible Entry.

To be eligible for entry into the Competition you must:

• be a New Zealand resident; 

• be 18 years of age or older; and

• comply with any other relevant rules as prescribed in the Competition Rules.

Employees, contractors, shareholders and their immediate families (being partners, children and parents) of the following organisations are not eligible to enter the competition: Wakatipu High School Foundation, VEGA Works.

 

Results.

Results will be declared by blind selection of included numbers, under supervision of an independent witness in accordance with Rule 6 (14) of the Gambling Act (Lottery) Game Rules 2004. Declaration will be held at the premises of Wakatipu High School at 10am on 20th of September 2022. Results will be published in the Mountain Scene on 22nd September 2022.

Results will also be published via The Wakatipu High School Foundation Facebook and Instagram Pages on 22nd September 2022.

The last day to collect the prize is 15th October 2022.

This Lottery is conducted by License issued under Section 37 of the Gambling Act 2003. License Number LT090000202.

The Wakatipu High School Foundation lottery "WIN A TRIP OF A LIFETIME…" Lottery is transacted electronically. All ticket sales are made online and all communication of ticket numbers and other Lottery details will be provided via email. A current email address must be provided to participate in the Lottery. A current physical address must be provided for identification purposes, but tickets will not be mailed. A current phone number is requested to enable winners to be contacted on the day of the draw.

 

Entry is only open to those aged 18 years or over at the time of ticket purchase.

 

Donations to the Wakatipu High School Foundation may be made when purchasing tickets. All donations of $5 or more are eligible for a tax credit from the IRD. A tax receipt will be issued within 10 days of the close of the Lottery.

Should early cancellation of this Lottery be necessary, notification will be sent via email to all ticket holders and a notice put into the Mountain Scene.
